About Phoenix Rising Bakery
Phoenix Rising Bakery is one of the asian bakeries listed in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The business is registered at 6725 Division Ave S, Grand Rapids, MI 49548; use this page to check its hours, phone number and Google rating before you make the trip.
Hours at these spots often run into the evening, later than a typical coffee shop, and many stay open on weekends when demand is highest in Grand Rapids. Seasonal and limited-time drink or dessert flavors are common, so a shop's current menu can differ from what is posted online; checking recent photos or calling ahead helps. Some locations in Michigan are dessert-only with no seating, meant for takeout, while others have cafe-style seating for staying a while. Straws for bubble tea are typically wide to accommodate the toppings, and are provided automatically unless you ask for a regular one. Loyalty apps and stamp cards are common at chain locations, and ordering ahead through an app can shorten a wait considerably at busy locations during peak after-school and after-dinner hours.
The business lists hours on 6 days of the week. On most of those days it is open 5:15 am–4 pm. Note that it does not open on Sunday. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. Stopped in around 2p, and while selection was certainly limited there were about 2 trays left. I tried 4 donuts assorted, a cinnamon roll type, a blueberry glazed, a chocolate glazed, and a long john filled with custard. 3 of the 4 were exceptional! Good and crispy on the outside still and so fluffy inside, wonderful flavor. The long john had a bit of a strange taste, I couldn't put my finger on it but it was off. I would go back and order anything else off the menu! Super nice service, friendly, and quick.

Purchased 2 dozen wildly expensive donuts for a client. The woman working the counter couldn’t understand what I meant when I asked for a variety, as if it was an abnormal request. Meijer bakery would have been a better value.

If you haven’t stopped by Phoenix Rising Bakery yet, you are seriously missing out. I recently dropped in and was blown away by the quality and the service. First off, the donuts are absolutely delicious—fresh, fluffy, and clearly made with care. They have that perfect "melt-in-your-mouth" texture that is getting harder to find these days. Beyond the treats, the owner is incredibly friendly and welcoming, making the whole experience feel like visiting a neighbor rather than just a shop. To top it all off, the prices are very reasonable. It’s rare to find such high quality baking that doesn’t break the bank. I’ll definitely be back here. Support this local business—you won’t regret it!

It’s one of those places where you walk in with the car still on expecting to grab your dozen and dip, but every time I walk into Phoenix I’m meeting people and chatting and learning something new from someone I’ve never met before. And all of us keep saying the same thing: these donuts are the best. And it’s not only the donuts! It’s the people here too, feels really warm and with that human touch that’s hard to find at other places. I am a creature of habit so I can only speak for the long-johns (custard - sublime) and a consistently good cup or warm coffee from the burner pot. But everything here looks good and it tastes even better I wish I could bring the whole world to this shop!

Why this place doesn't have a 5 star rating is a total mystery!! I loved this place!! Such a warm inviting spot! I opened the door and the smell of hot fresh donuts smacked my senses crazy! I was literally in awe! There was a huge variety! I got one dozen regular and a dozen fancy donuts. For good measure, I got 2 muffins - 1 blueberry and a chocolate chip. Holy smokes was my donut delicious!!! I only ate half of the blueberry because it was huge and it was fresh and delicious. Did I say this place is the best?!! I can't wait to have more. Get these in your belly!!!
